Blow Molding Materials

Machine Capabilities

Common Materials
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

ACM's most common plastic offers excellent processing, chemical resistance, impact resistance, and recyclability. ACM Plastic Products uses both natural virgin HDPE and black reprocessed HDPE. Reprocessed material is recycled HDPE.

Polypropylene (PP)

ACM's second most used plastic; its advantages include strength, rigidity, fatigue resistance, heat resistance, and recyclability.

Special Materials
High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (HMWPE)

Advantages: high tensile and compressive strength.

Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE)

Advantages: flexible, high resilience, soft, pliable, and recyclable.

Crystal Polystyrene (PS)
Clear, rigid, and lightweight.
Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE)

Also known as thermoplastic rubber, a rubber based substance that is flexible and lightweight. TPE has advantages of both plastic and rubber.

Additives

When required ACM Plastic Products has used additives to make property improvements to products such as UV stabilizers.

Many Other Engineered Resins
ACM Plastic Products is not limited to processing the materials listed above and can process additional materials upon request. ACM Plastic Products can help define the material that meets customer needs and expectations.
ACM Plastic Products uses special materials only as specified by our customers. ACM Plastic Products does not use any additives or fillers without customer approval.
